OK Tire recently celebrated the industry’s success at the OK Tire 2025 Annual Conference, recognizing leading partners and standout dealers.
Held over three days in Cancun, Mexico, the conference featured networking and collaboration opportunities to exchange key industry insight, a tradeshow floor showcasing the latest products and services, vendor training sessions, an annual general meeting and strategy sessions.
The conference kicked with an awards ceremony featuring two new awards introduced this year, one recognizing Community Grassroots Partner of the Year and the other a Service Partner Award. It wrapped with a 400-person dinner on the beach, complete with 200 drones celebrating the industry coming together.
“OK Tire has been part of the Canadian landscape since 1953,” says Shane Butner, Director of Marketing & Communications for OK Tire.
“Our annual conference is a celebration of everything this proudly 100% Canadian company stands for. Community Commitment
Reinforcing OK Tire’s commitment and deep roots within local communities nationally, OK Tire announced several community partnerships and corporate updates.
OK Tire, the CFL and Blackhawk have continued to join forces in support of Touchdowns for Communities. This program supports all 10 provincial football associations and Canada Football. Since the start of the program in 2022, over $120,000 has been raised.
Touchdowns for Communities has long established itself for prioritizing the development of youth players alongside local ambassadors retired CFL football linebacker Henoc Muamba, and BC Lions offensive lineman Andrew Peirson.
Both Muamba and Peirson have travelled across the country through the support of the organization to coach in smaller communities, training and empowering future generations and will continue to do so for years to come.
“OK Tire stores are deeply rooted in their local communities and it only seems fitting that this year we introduced the Community Grassroots category. We’re excited to recognize Blackhawk Tires, a vendor which aligns with our values and embodies this community spirit in supporting OK Tire with such programs,” adds Butner.
OK Tire also announced its renewed partnership with Hockey Canada. Supporting the game’s deep-seated roots that have helped forge Canada’s cultural identity, this renewal highlights OK Tire’s commitment to community engagement, youth development and the power of sports.
The four-year partnership further strengthens OK Tire’s integration with the Hockey Canada Foundation Assist Fund, which supports grassroots and high-performance hockey from coast to coast to coast, and the introduction of new programs that will enhance the connection between minor hockey families and local OK Tire stores.
