The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) has been commissioned to conduct a series of studies to better understand which repair tasks are performed most frequently.

The latest survey is focused on brake repair tasks. Survey participants do not need to be ASE certified to take the survey. As a thank you, ASE will randomly award $100 Amazon gift cards to five lucky individuals who share their time and experience by taking the survey.

As an industry created and directed organization, ASE depends upon the industry for input.

Certification tasks and test questions are written by industry subject matter experts (SMEs) from independent repair shops, dealers, aftermarket suppliers, OEMs and trainers. ‘

The responses to this survey and the others in the series will help drive ASE certification standards as well as technical training.
