The Mufflerman Inc. a portfolio company of Argyle Capital Partners, has acquired Sil’s Complete Auto Care Centre located in Oakville, Ont.
The transaction closed on February 5th,
This marks the fourth acquistion in recent years for the organization.
In January 2022 it acquired Superior Tire & Auto Inc. (“Superior Tire”) from Frank Bongiovanni, President and Howard Minsker, Chief Executive Officer. Superior Tire is one of the leading franchisors of retail tire stores and car care centres in Ontario with 10 locations located strategically throughout the Greater Toronto Area and Barrie,
In March 2023, it acquired Fleet Specialties. Founded in 2008, Fleet provides maintenance, repair, management and custom upfitting for commercial fleets and corporate clients. Fleet focuses on light and heavy-duty trucks and vans out of its facilities in North York, Ontario.
In November 2023, it acquired five automotive car repair and tire locations in the Greater Toronto Area and Guelph from Carflex, Inc. The five locations operate under the EuroMechanic brand umbrella and are co-branded with their individual names, Bloor West Auto, in Mississauga, Brock Road Garage in Guelph, McDermott Motors in Toronto, McNally Auto in North York, and Redline Automotive in Scarborough.
Sil’s has been serving the community inOakville, Ontario for over 49 years.
Sil’s was founded by Silvano Sabucco and was taken over by his son Carlo Sabucco in 2009. Carlo and all employees will be remaining with the business.
Sil’s will continue to operate as an independent auto mechanical garage within The Mufflerman Group.
