Lubricant specialist LIQUI MOLY remains the undisputed most popular oil brand in Germany. This was decided by the readers of the largest car magazines in the country.
For two of the magazines, it is the tenth title in a row. “With all the bad news that is sweeping the world and hitting us now, this is a bright spot and a reward for the work we do day in, day out, no matter what the general situation,” Managing Director Ernst Prost is happy to say.
In 2011, the readers of “Auto Motor und Sport” and “Auto-Zeitung” voted LIQUI MOLY the best oil brand for the first time. An award that was destined to endure. The German lubricant brand has now been at the top for a decade. “The joy about our first title win ten years ago was enormous,” Managing Director Ernst Prost recalls. “Every year since then, we have waited in suspense for the results. No doubt about it, the first place for the tenth time in a row is fabulous. In difficult times like these, such news is like a breath of fresh air.”
And another placement in both magazines is being repeated: Second place for care products. “The political push towards alternative drives also means for our future that we will have to rely on products other than lubricants,” says the Managing Director. Since the type of drive is not a factor in vehicle care, LIQUI MOLY can also use part of its product range to score points in this area with electric cars. Ernst Prost: “In this respect, we also appreciate the second place in the care products category. The result proves that customers do not perceive us exclusively as an oil brand.”
The positive trend is also continuing at other magazines in Germany. LIQUI MOLY is also in first place in the favor of the readers of “Auto Bild” for the ninth time in succession. It is not only car enthusiasts who know and appreciate LIQUI MOLY; the readers of the magazine “Motorrad” also have great affection for the oil specialist from Germany. Their votes also helped the brand to the top of the winners’ podium once again, after LIQUI MOLY had already finished first last year.
“Of course, during the corona pandemic, we are focusing on the health of all our colleagues and partners. In addition, we are fighting to keep operations running as long as possible, so that we can continue to supply our customers all over the world with goods,” Ernst Prost declares. At the same time, the company is working hard every day to remain Germany’s best oil brand
