The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of the People’s Republic of China just released the winners of the National Green Manufacturers Award and Winhere Auto-Part Manufacturing Co., Ltd is an honoured recipient of this coveted national award.

The awards are part of China’s aggressive Industrial Green Development Plan to recognize those key China manufacturers from the top six energy consuming industries who meet and exemplify the MIIT standards established for green manufacturing. The plan focuses on improving energy efficiency and technical capabilities, reducing pollution and emissions and accelerating green manufacturing systems.

Only 409 companies out of several million China manufacturers were honoured with this distinction. “We are thrilled that our parent company is the only brake parts manufacturer in China to receive this honour,”, said Jimmy Shum, President Winhere Brake Parts, Inc., the company’s North American entity, “Protecting the environment and preserving our precious resources has always been a foundation rooted in our company. We will continue to invest heavily in lean and green manufacturing saving energy and benefitting our environment.”
