Eccles Auto Service in Dundas, Ontario celebrated 40 years of excellent customer service with a community event, a chance to swing a sledgehammer at a car for charity, and the launch of Bruce Eccles’ new book.
Eccles Auto, which has forged a reputation as an example for many shops to follow, took the opportunity to raise funds for deserving causes even as it raised awareness of its business.
Bruce Eccles says the event was well attended and raised close to $5,000 for Dundas Community Services and Margaret’s Place Hospice.
Eccles had first copies of his new book “Don’t Look Back, Look Ahead: 40 years of business and life’s unexpected road” on hand, with enough sales generated to make it Amazon’s Best Seller in the Automotive Category.
Eccles was a guest on The Great Canadian Aftermarket Podcast, where he spoke about the near-fatal motorcycle accident and the journey back that eventually led to the book’s writing.
