Fix Network Canada, leader in the automotive aftermarket industry, has announced that it has achieved National Mission Partner status with Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada (RMHC Canada).
This designation is granted to organizations that commit to an annual donation of $250,000. Fix Network Canada has not only met this substantial target but exceeded it, contributing an outstanding $259,446 to RMHC Canada in 2023.
The notable donation will provide crucial support to RMHC Canada programs and services for families with sick children across the nation. Fix Network Canada’s contribution will fund 1544 nights of stay for families who must travel to access medical treatment for their sick child, offering comfort and respite during challenging times.
This donation is a testament to the auto repair network’s commitment to making meaningful impact in the communities it serves. Sylvain Seguin, President of Fix Network Canada, expressed his enthusiasm about achieving the National Mission Partner status and surpassing the annual donation goal.
“Being recognized as a National Mission Partner by Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada is a tremendous honour for us as a company,” says Seguin. “We are deeply committed to supporting the incredible work RMHC Canada does to support families facing the challenges that come with having a seriously ill child.
“Our giving reflects the dedication of our entire network, including substantial contributions from our supplier partners, franchise owners, and the generous supporters who participated in our seasonal fundraising campaign.”
Notable contributions included $45,000 from two preferred partners, Uni-Select and NAPA/Axalta, $13,000 from a multi-shop owner in Ontario, and an incredible $50,000 donation from a generous Quebec franchise owner. Fix Network Canada closed 2023 on a high-note with over $67,000 raised through their first ever donor-matching Season of Giving campaign. Additional funds were collected through several annual events hosted by the network, such as regional meetings and golf tournaments.
“On behalf of RMHC across Canada and the thousands of families that we serve each year, we are deeply grateful to our partners at Fix Network Canada for joining us in our shared mission to support families with sick children in our communities from coast to coast to coast,” said Kate Horton, RMHC Canada CEO. She adds,
“Today, the 34 RMHC programs across the country give families a place to stay together while their child is being treated at a nearby hospital, offering all the familiar comforts of home, and so much more, to help make their journeys a little easier. Thanks to the generous spirit of Fix Network Canada, more children will have their loved ones by their side and be close to the care they need.”
With their new National Mission Partner status, Fix Network Canada is positioned to have an even more profound impact on the lives of families with sick children. The company looks forward to deepening its collaboration with RMHC Canada and continuing its pursuit of giving back to the communities it serves.
